Nanoscale Metal Amide Composites as Versatile Storage Materials for High Energy-Density Applications

Recipient: Sandia National Laboratory (PI: Mark Allendorf)

Abstract: This project will use nanoporous hosts to destabilize metal amides to enable them to desorb H2 at temperatures </= 200 C. This will enable them to be used as storage materials in tanks fabricated from light-weight aluminum alloys.
